Altheus is a Management Consultancy which was initially established as an independent concern to provide services in the areas of Business Advisory & Planning, Marketing, Start-Up Capital, and Human Resources Management.

The company was formally incorporated in Nigeria in July 2010.

Altheus takes pride in its flair for identifying, evaluating and capitalising on business opportunities across a broad spectrum of markets and industries. In addition to its core Management Consultancy business, Altheus has successfully expanded its business scope in Nigeria to include Training & Human Capacity Development, Energy Support Services and partnering with Private Equity firms and institutional investors in Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia to secure funds for major projects in Oil & Gas, Maritime, Real Estate, and most recently the e-commerce sector in Nigeria

VENTURES AFRICA’S TAKE ON TRAVELBETA

Nigeria’s newest online travel agency, Travelbeta, was launched about six weeks ago and has now raised a $2 million seed fund to enable it dominate the Nigerian travel industry. Earlier this month Ventures Africa reported that Travelbeta can be a major competitor for Africa’s current number one online travel agency, Wakanow, and it appears it is well on its way to do so.

Travelbeta.com, a start-up Nigerian travel booking website, has raised $2 million in a seed round led by Nigerian investment firm Altheus Limited.

Co-founded in July 2015 by Nigerian entrepreneur Onyeka Akumah, Lagos-based Travelbeta.com begun operations as an offline travel agency before launching online in October. The company has since generated over half a million dollars in revenues.
